Another week has passed, and it’s once again time to take a snapshot of the Vancouver real estate market. This past week was slightly weaker than the previous one, but it was stellar nonetheless. The only weakness was that the number of sales fell slightly, but otherwise everything remained very strong.

There were 162 Active Listings in the month of June 2009. This is down significantly from 191 seen in May 2009 and less than half the high of 328 seen in October 2008 in the Fairview community of Vancouver.

It was beginning to look as though the slower summer season had settled into the Vancouver real estate market. These two weeks were still strong, but only appeared weaker compared to the incredibly strong weeks that had led up to them.
