There were 137 Active Listings in the month of August 2009. This is down from 145 in July 2009 and the fifth month in a row that there’s been a drop. It is also well below half the high of 328 seen in October 2008 in the Fairview community of Vancouver.

Sales dropped once again in Fairview in the month of August. There were 66 Sales in July and only 60 in August 2009. This was the second month in a row that Sales dropped in the Fairview community of Vancouver from the high of 93 set in June 2009.
The Average Sale Price rose to $583,000 in July 2009 from $510,000 in June. Cumulative Days on Market fell to 41 (from 49) days. Meanwhile, the Average Price Per Square Foot rose dramatically to $588 from $430.

There were 2 sales between $200,000 and $300,000, 11 sales between $300,000 and $400,000, 15 sales between $400,000 and $500,000, 12 sales between $500,000 and $600,000, 4 sales between $600,000 and $700,000, 7 sales between $700,000 and $800,000, 2 sales between $800,000 and $900,000, 3 sales between $900,000 and $1,000,000 and 3 sales over $1,000,000.
The least expensive sale was $251,000 for a 49 year old 702 sq ft one bedroom. The most expensive sale was $1,715,000 for a n 4 year old, 2793 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom.
