The month of May 2009 saw Active Listings in the Fairview community of Vancouver fall to 191 from 206 in April. This number is in line with the 192 seen in March of 2008.

May 2009 was a very big month for Sales of homes in the Fairview area of Vancouver. There were just 18 Sales in January 2009 and the month of April 2009 only saw 58 transactions.

The Average Sale Price rose  to $482,000 in May 2009 from $441,000 in April. Cumulative Days on Market rose to 79 (from 72) days. Meanwhile, the Average Price Per Square Foot rose slightly to $523 from $475.

There were 12 sales between $200,000 and $300,000, 23 sales between $300,000 and $400,000, 25 sales between $400,000 and $500,000, 13 sales between $500,000 and $600,000, 13 sales between $600,000 and $700,000, 3 sales between $700,000 and $800,000, 1 sale between $900,000 and $1,000,000, and 2 sales between $1,700,000 and $1,800,000.

The least expensive sale was $235,000 for a 59 year old 700 sq ft one bedroom. The most expensive sale was $1,788,000 for a 8 year old, 2066 sq ft, 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom.
