After a one week drop in listings, we saw them jump back up (+48.03%) to 376 from 254 the previous week. At the same time, Sales continued there steady rise to 118 (+40.48%) to 118. With both New Listings and Sales rising by nearly identical amounts the Sell/List ratio remained relatively flat (-1.69) at 31.38% from 33.07%.
As the previous week was end of month, we saw a spike in the number of Removed Listings. This past week, however, was a return to more normal levels with 158 Removed Listings (66 Expired and 92 Terminated or Cancelled).
Active Listings rose (+3.65%) to 4227 from 4078. As I’ve mentioned before, I think we’ll see this number continue to rise into the spring. However, I also am seeing a lot more interested buyers…including first-time buyers and seasoned investors…and I suspect we’ll see Sales pick up in the coming weeks as well.
