Sebastian Albrecht - Media Coverage
On June 22nd, 2009 I broke the record for the most single day ascents of the Grouse Grind. My motivation was to raise as much awareness (and $10,000) for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation as possible.
I reached my goal by getting to the top of Grouse Mountain 13 times in one day despite the media coverage. While I asked for the media to cover my story, I never the kind of response that I received. I was deluged the entire day with cameras, video cameras, reporters, and phone calls.
It turned out that the greatest success of the day was the amount of awareness that was raised for the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation.

Donations are still open. If you would like to make a donation to the RLP Shelter Foundation you can so here. I am very close to my goal of raising $10,000, but I could use your help to achieve it.
